15th Labor Consultation Room Work Regulations

1On January 6th, the Java-Bali Large-Scale Movement Regulations (PSBB Jawa Bali) was announced by Coordinating Minister Airlangga (in charge of the economy), and stricter movement restrictions will be in place from January 11th to 25th. The announcement has already been published in writing. One of these is a work-from-home ratio of over 75%. How can I make sure to keep the attendance rate below 25%?

[Management using limited work day system]

The previous regulation was to limit attendance to 50%. Therefore, many companies seem to have a system where employees go to work and stay home on different days. In some cases, there are companies where employees go to work one week and stay home one week at a time. I think the easiest management method is to limit work days in a similar way. I think it would be more realistic for four groups to work in shifts every day, ``going to work one day and then working from home for three days.'' However, it is easy to become confused about this method and end up going to work by mistake. The purpose of separating groups is to minimize contact between groups, so if you avoid going to work by mistake as much as possible, it will be ineffective. To achieve this, it may be easier to understand by limiting the number to 20% instead of 25%, dividing the employees into 5 groups, and establishing a Monday team, Tuesday team, and so on. Make sure to limit the number of cases and prevent the occurrence of internal clusters as much as possible. On the other hand, if you do it weekly, if you go to work one week and then work from home for three weeks in a row, it may interfere with your work, so it is not suitable for 25%.

[Management based on permission system]

There may be companies that find it difficult to implement such a limited system due to their duties or business, and would like to be able to respond flexibly to situations that change day by day. In such cases, it is possible to set up a system in which only those who have received permission from the department manager to work can come to work, with the principle that each department must keep the attendance rate below 25%. Of course it takes time. However, it will be easier to respond to special meetings or urgent customer requests. On the other hand, with this method, if a positive patient occurs within the company, it will be difficult to confirm contact history, and the risk of an in-house cluster outbreak will be higher than with a system where attendance is limited. Depending on the layout of your company, you can cut the risk in half by dividing your employees into two groups and limiting the rooms they can enter. Let's do our best to prevent accidents according to the situation of our work and company.
